Curtain Bluff has a classic Caribbean setting, laid out in leisurely tropical gardens over two very attractive beaches either side of a point – which culminates in the bluff of the name – tucked away from the bulk of the island’s tourism on the south coast of Antigua. The journey down from the airport takes you through tropical countryside, through simple local villages and beneath huge scrub-covered hills.
